According to The Worldwide Top 40 Albums Chart provided by MediaTraffic.de, “The Fame Monster” is the best-selling album of 2010 worldwide moving 5,9 million copies during the year.Lady GaGa is followed closely by Eminem’s “Recovery” with 5,8 million copies and Justin Bieber “My World” with 5,6 million. The top 5 gets completed with Lady Antebellum’s “Need You Now” with 3,6 million copies and album-selling machine Taylor Swift with 3,5 million copies in 2 months for “Speak Now”.
“The Fame Monster” moved the same amount of copies in 2009 and charted at #2 on the year-end chart behind Susan Boyle’s “I Dreamed A Dream” which sold 6 million.
“The Fame” and “The Fame Monster” have now a total of 12 million copies sold.
